Note: Memoir on different species of oat-grass; avena hiberna, avena vulgaris alba aut nigra, Pin., "redd oat-grass" (avoine rouge). In addition and not much known in France were aveda nuda Pin., and Hungarian oat-grass [avena orientalis?] The latter was first reported in France in the Almanach agricole du Beauvaisis for 1764.
