Title: Account of a new species of Nerium, [(Nerium tinctoriu,)}the leaves of which yield Indigo, with an engraving of the plant, and descriptions and engravings of the necessary apparatus for manufacturing the Indigo. To which is added, a brief account of the result of various experiments made with a view to throw some additional light on the theory of that artificial production. Also descriptions of two other plants which yield Indigo [(Indigofera cœrulea), (Asclepias tinctoria)], and one from Pegu, said to yield a green dye [(Asclepias tingens)].
