Description of the organic specimens: some oval or spindle shaped, others cylindrical or branched covered over with oviform grains, occasionally furrowed down the middle. No opinion as to whether they were botanical or zoological. Specimens were found in the excavations on the line of the Birmingham railyway, between Euston Sq. and Kilburn, in London.
