Note: An attempt by the author to discover the simplest form of life and its development from there to form cellular tissue. First thought that monilia was the first degree of vegetation, but thereafter discovered what he called globuline. Connected vesicles of globuline created Lepra, variations of this substance produced Conferva. Several conferva welded together produced Ulva. Finally several Ulva applied one to the other formed cellular tissue.
