Note: As a comment on Rafinesque's proposal that only genera with stamina inaequalia be recognized as belonging to Convolvuli, Wikström observes that this criterion does not apply to two swedish species, Convolvulus arvensis and sepium, while C. purpureus and tricolor, not native to Sweden, exemplify this character.
