Note: The major part of this article, pp. 275-295, is devoted to a review of M.N. Blytt's travel account of the botanical excursion of the summer of 1826, first published in the norwegian journal Mag. Naturvidensk. 9: 241-283. 1829. However, the last few pages contain brief notes from miscellaneous sources. This is especially true of pp. 296-297. The final subject is Mathias Winther's Literaturae scientiae rerum naturalium in Dania, Norvegia & Holsatia... enchiridion, reviewed on pp. 297-299.
