Note: Descriptions of five new plants in Germany: the plants are: -
Potamogeton complanatum: found in the waters of the Spree and Oder, also seen by Detharding in the vicinity of Rostok. Prospers equally well in stagnant water.
Oenanthe megapolitana: found in the fields near Mecklenburg.
Juncus balticus: found on the sandy shore near Warnemunde.
Chara aspera: found in slightly salty lecustrine water on the edge of the Baltic, near Warnemunde.
Chara latifolia: found in 1809 by Ch. Kunt in a lake near Tegel not far from Berlin.
