X: Taunton received the large silver medal for the first cultivation of this bean in the British Isles. No botanical name is given and the only indication as to where the seeds originally came from is his vague allusion to a handful of the beans which came from the Continent.
In the 2nd part of the article he mentions his trial ground at Peach's Close, Surrey, where there were between 2-300 species of plants. Otherwise this is an article on the culture of the bean.
