Marquis had reviewed 1) the preface of "Flore des environs de Rouen," by Le Turquier. 16-17.
2) the 24th class of the Linnaean system (cryptogamie) by Turquier.
3) Catalogue of plants thought to grow spontaneously in the district surrounding Rouen.
4) Two tables of species of plants contained in the "Flore" and classified after Jussieu. pp. 15-16
Marquis had also given memoirs on several subjects, one on the dangers of over-population of genera in nat. hist, especially in botany.
He had offered "Considerations on species" - short outline of the 4 parts of the work.
Le Vieux had given his inaugural address on cryptogams - extracts of his speech.
Loiseleur Deslongchamps had given a copy of the Flora gallica, with supplement to the Acad. 20. He had also given one of the parts of Nouveau Duhamel, upon which he had worked for several years. 6 vol. and 71 were already out. The part donated contained a history of the fig-tree. p. 20-1; Recherches historiques, botaniques et médicales, sur les narcisses indigènes, p. 21.
