Note: Two letters, one a covering letter to the Society, dated Nov. 19, 1823, and one he had written to C. Lushington acknowledging receipt of the latter, Moorcroft's account of the prangos plant, with seeds and plants of the herb, which Lushington had received from W.B. Bayley, Secretary to the Government, to whom Moorcroft ahd sent them in the first place.
Wallich gives his opinion on which family the plant belonged to, etc. and suggested that the seeds should be sent to other places for experiments in growths in a variety of conditions.
Moorcroft's account follows on pp. 76-82. - separate B form. Langman has put all items together under Moorcroft.
