Commelina . . . new species, with large leaves with undulating edges and blue flowers; Antilles.
Anthericum fastigiatum. Had been in other European gardens, The Muséum's plant had been sent from Bruxelles, 1795/96 and was flowering for the first time.
Cactus echino melo cactus. Found by botanists on Baudin's 1st exped. on a small island near St. Thomas, where it was almost the only plant growing.
Phyllanthus grandifolia - Baudin, Antilles.
Aristolochia trifida - Antilles; had been painted by Redoute for the Muséum's collection.
Clerodendron fragrans - sent from London, by Eyton; Place of origin not given
Zamia pumila - Antilles, Baudin.
Plants sent from Corsica to the Jardin des Plants were doing well.
