| Notes: | References cited. Linnaeus is known to have carried with him, on his trip to Holland, an inventory of all his writings to date; several copies of such lists have been found. The present list, however, is the longest and most detailed, and is valuable because of the light it sheds on the early writings of Linnaeus.
