Notes: 22 year old Bergstrand rescued 6 of Linneaus's youthful writings from destruction at the time of disposal of the estate of professor Reinhold Scheringsson in Västeras. Among the 6 manuscripts are Praeludia Sponsaliorum plantarum (1730), Dissertatio botanica de planta sceptro Carolina (1731), Flora dalecarlica (1734) & Pluto Svecicus (1734), all antedating Linnaeus's journey to Holland & now in possession of Uppsala University Library. “C” form in HI biography file.
