The identity of J. H. Soper was later identified to be Harold E. Moore in the description of subjects in Fernald's portrait #19, which was discovered to be incorrect. The correct identity was reestablished as J. H. Soper to agree with Hodge's original notes on back of photo. (4 December 2003 - JS)
