This photograph is a duplicate of group portrait #376, which was found in Rogers McVaugh Archive Collection #322, oversize drawar #33. McVaugh donated the photograph on 20 November 1998 along with a sheet that identified many participants. The individuals that were not already identified in the Langman photo have been added to the list of subjects in Group Portrait #376. Participants that were identified in #376a and #376 include José Sarukhán, J. Rzedowski, Ida K. Langman, Rolla Tryon, Lyman B. Smith, Alice Tryon, Eizi Matuda Matuda, Carlos Múnoz Pizarro, Lorin I.
