Notes: Arms around a trunk of a fine Spanish Cedar (Cedrela Odorata - Meliaceae). Smith is author of "Forests of Cuba" and was a former member of Harvard grad. class, tropical botany, taught by W. H. Hodge in Cuba in the summer of 1950.
