Notes: Neg. (2 x 3) transferred from WHH Coll. #65, Box 11 and close-up print (5 x 7) was transferred from Box 9, ff 13. Unloading baled commercial bark arriving by truck from the interior forests east of the Andes to coastal shipping city for U. S. Government purchase in “deposito” of Fortunato Hoyle (Peruvian dealer in bark). Gordon Fox was the forester of the Cinchona Mission and the companion of Walter Hodge in most field surveys. Neg. is dated 1945 and print dated 1944. Copy of print (2 x 2) in scrapbook, Peru Personal Album (p.41), in #65, Box 9, ff 15.
