Handwritten note: "Same as #1, except this is colored. 1 copy in P file, 1 large copy in LL. Consulted Gavin and he said he would consider this colored version and engraving to be same image/portrait. He thought someone had probably hand-colored a photograph of engraving, although this is not the same colored copy that appeared in Henrey, Blanche, British Botany and Horticulture Literature before 1800.
